Looks like I’m going to be getting a motorised wheelchair.  It’s like the Ferrari of wheelchairs and has a seat that lifts up and down to make me taller so that I can reach the dining table on my own. I will even be able to reach the taps in the kitchen to get myself a drink. That  will be good because I can’t do that now. Can’t say I like the idea but I can see there will be benefits.

  1. hi pet at least you will stil have your independance, and hey you can chase the family about when they annoy you ! so thats a benefit, take care, oh meant to say im enjoying reading your book.xx

  2. Its early in the morning here in Mexico. It is good to hear such good news Hayley. “it’s like the Ferrari of wheel chairs…” you made my day! Have a great weekend! 🙂

  3. Hey Hayley, I have some health problems that cause really horrible pain, and much of the time it’s really hard for me to walk. So there are lots of times I miss out on doing things with my friends and family. I know the idea of a wheelchair sucks, but seriously, it is going to stop you from missing out on so many things! It must be driving you crazy not to be able to do things for yourself that you would normally do too – I know I get really annoyed when it happens to me.
From what you said, it must look fantastic – you could even add some stuff to it to make it look really cool. Have a look online – I bet you anything lots of people have added bling to their chairs! ♥♥♥

  4. Reading your book and followed you for years via the documentaries and via your mum’s Facebook page. I know a wheelchair is not ideal but you’ll be able to “pimp it up” Hayley-style! Stay happy Hayley.
