Last night was the first time in ages I slept all night.

Since I dislocated my hips I’ve been waking up in the night and crying out for Mum because of the pain. But now my doctors have given me strong painkillers to take before I go to bed. Mum gave me a dose last night. It tasted disgusting and almost made me sick. But at least I didn’t wake up in pain, so it must be doing some good.

I’m also waiting for news about my new motorised wheelchair and car seat. I’m not very keen on the idea of having a wheelchair but at least I will be able to move around the house again without having to ask mum for help.

I will post when I have more news.

  1. Hello Hayley, my name is Ophélie and I’m from France. 2 weeks ago, I saw a report about you. In this report, you talked about your disease with so much bravery that I realized there’s no reason for me and for all people healthy to complain about a little hurt. There’s so much more important than that… You and all other people who get this dirt disease are important, the fact of finding new medication to heal you, that is important. I really hope that as soon as possible someone will find a drug able to replace all your drugs against pain and more particulary, THE drug to heal you.
    With all my love
    Ophélie xoxo

You are a very brave young lady and inspire us immensely. We definitely learned to give more value to the little things in life (and to not complain too much) .

We wish you all the best and look forward to more positive updates.

You are officially my new role model. <3 I believe in you and I know you will get through this. God is watching over you and is taking care of you.
