Old Before My Time: Hayley Okines’ life with progeria

This book was very heartwarming, but also very informative. I knew absolutely nothing about Progeria, but I can say I do now. I think Hayley is very brave and I hope she continues to be so. Thank you Hayley and Kerry for being so honest so that other people can gain knowledge.

This was by far the best Christmas present for me this year, what an eye opener. Told by Hayley and her mum, an honest account of life with progeria. Funny in parts especially as Hayley is so open and honest about everything. Hayley and her mum are like a double act!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book, 13 Nov 2011

This book was so much better than expected. I have followed Hayley since the first documentry. The book clearly tells her story and explains the medical issues behind progeria. I was hooked from page one.and I particularly like you get Kerry (her mother) and Hayleys views on different topics. Living in Kent this is so close to home and truely inspirational.
